This beginner-friendly design features two large alternating blocks. One block gives a large-scale directional fabric plenty of room to shine, while the second asymmetrical block adds interest with a simple nine patch corner. Together, the blocks create a bold diagonal stair-step effect across the quilt with no complicated construction.Â
